In 2016, the owner purchased a 10,000 sq. ft. lot that contained two units originally built in 1935. Initially, the owner’s plan was to simply add an additional rental unit to the property. However, after consulting with Harry Designs, we presented an alternative approach: maximizing the land’s potential by designing a 7-unit, townhome-style building. This innovative proposal offered the owner the flexibility to either rent or sell each unit individually, opening up new opportunities to significantly increase his return on investment. The result is a beautifully designed, 3-story townhome-style apartment building featuring 16 parking spots and a kid-friendly play area, creating a functional and inviting space that enhances the overall value of the property.
